|Visitors are always welcome to stop by the Brentwood Senior Activity Center any Wednesday evening to check out modern square dancing. Our new dancer classes usually start twice each year. The next Basic I class starts February 12, 2020. Modern Square Dancing is fun and a great way to burn off some of those extra holiday calories!!
For homeschooled students, square dancing can help meet PE requirements and a 2016 study by Bridgewater State University found four primary benefits: derived enjoyment, psychomotor & cognitive learning, respect toward others, & development of a community of friendship.
Time is 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday evenings, Brentwood Senior Activity Center, 193 Griffith Lane, Brentwood 94513. classes are eight consecutive weeks of 1 hour lessons.
Age: 8-80+ (ages 8-17 require adult supervision).
